Parroquia Sixto Duran Ball\u00e9n posee entre sus principales platos gastron\u00f3micos, las deliciosas tongas y otros platos que se preparan con productos del medio (Gallina, pato, chancho, res, fr\u00e9jol, haba, naranjas, lim\u00f3n, etc.) ; los lugares son muy concurridos por pobladores de medio y viajeros\u00a0 donde se puede encontrar estos platos son:<\/p>\n<p>Cabecera Parroquial:\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 COMEDOR \u00abDO\u00d1A MAYRA\u00bb<\/p>\n<p>COMEDOR \u00abLA SAZ\u00d3N DEL MAYOR\u00bb<\/p>\n<p>Comunidad Las Mercedes:\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0COMEDOR\u00a0\u00abMESA 3\u00bb<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-1139\" Parroquia encontramos la hacienda \u00ab<strong>Mam\u00e1 Vaca\u00bb<\/strong> donde se elabora y comercializa el Queso.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium 569w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 550px) 100vw, 550px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>As\u00ed mismo se encuentra en la zona, espec\u00edficamente en la comunidad La primavera la <strong>HACIENDA CASA BLANCA<\/strong>, donde se dedican al\u00a0CRIADERO DE GYR LECHERO.<\/p>\n<p>La\u00a0<strong>hacienda Casa Blanca<\/strong>\u00a0es conformada con casi un 40% de la extencion total de la parroquia\u00a0<strong>Sixto Dur\u00e1n Ball\u00e9n<\/strong>, sus corrales de orde\u00f1o est\u00e1n ubicados\u00a0en la comunidad\u00a0<strong>La Primavera<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>El orde\u00f1o lo realizan de forma manual, la cual\u00a0genera plazas de trabajo para 6 orde\u00f1adores diarios, mismos que orde\u00f1an alrededor de 400 vacas parinderas durante todo el a\u00f1o.<\/p>\n<p>El mantenimiento de los pastisales y alambradas, tambien son realizzados con trabajadores en un n\u00famero que oscila entre 15\u00a0y 20 personas diarias durante todo el a\u00f1o.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Toda la\u00a0 produccion de leche es procesada s\u00f3lo para generar queso, el cual es distribuido\u00a0entre los mercados de los cantones de 24 de Mayo, Olmedo, Pajan y Jipijapa.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>La producci\u00f3n de ganado joven y adulto como reproductores, cubre los mercados de las provincias de Manabi y Santo Domingo.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>La producci\u00f3n de gadado de carne, cubre varios mercados de la provincia.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>RAZA:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>La hacienda se caracteriza por producir\u00a0<strong>GYR LECHERO<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Estos a su vez son reconocidos por la marquilla en
